At Patwell, it is our goal to build sound and lasting relationships. Patwell has formed relationships with over 100 customers since 2003. We have provided contracted services for some of our nation’s largest pharmaceutical companies and also for very small startup companies backed by venture capitalist. Along with this, Patwell has provided contract services for very large and complicated clinical trials and also for very small simple services.
After completing pharmacy school and internship, David Popplewell toiled for over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, including roles in data management, CRA functions, clinical QA, medical affairs, and leading project management all the while gaining the experience to form his own company. In January 2003, he founded Patwell Pharmaceutical Solutions, LLC, which he strategically located outside Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Baltimore, in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
Patwell began operations in May of that year, focused on offering full-service labeling and packaging services for clinical trial materials. Patwell’s facility handles secondary packing, labeling, distribution, and reconciliation services. As we saw significant development in warehousing, cold storage, secondary packaging, and labeling services, Patwell’s personnel swiftly grew to 25 employees. After about a dozen years, Patwell maintains close relationships with many businesses, including contract manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors. Patwell is a single member LLC with no formal partnerships or agreements with other businesses.
